The High-Level Panel on International Migration (HLPM) in Africa was established in june 2017 by the United Nations Economic Commisson for Africa (ECA) and the African Union Commission (AUC) The objective of the Panel is to profile migration issues and push them to the top of policy agenda by engaging major stake holders and partners. The West African Observatory on Migrations was invited to represent African CSOs in the panel. See below the remarks of Samir ABI during the 3rd HLPM meeting at the IOM Headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland).
