The Sub-Sahara Media Programme of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS Media Africa) organised a conference entitled ‘’Media and Migration: Telling Moving Stories’’ from 29-30 May 2019 in Johannesburg Holocaust and Genocide Centre (South Africa). The conference was attended by journalists and researchers working in the area of migration. It was focused on media reporting on migration and refugees and how the narratives, attitudes and debates differ in the various regions of Africa and Europe. The West Africa Observatory on Migrations did a presentation on: ‘’Media Monitoring and migrant’s rights in West Africa ’’.
